Providing a safety-positive culture in which every employee is encouraged to speak up about non-conformances, undesirable or unsafe situations, or any other OHS-related issue.
Providing all employees, contractors and visitors with relevant information, operational controls and regular training on OHS requirements to enable them to conduct their activities safely.
Implementing effective approaches to protect people from safety and health risks.
Meeting or exceeding all applicable laws and UIT Safety Standards, whichever is the highest standard.
Having a risk-based process in place for the identification, classification, prioritization and control of hazards and risks.
COVID-19
Our employees’ safety and health is a priority. UIT LLC has responded to the new challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has presented by providing programs and practices that assist all employees in protecting each other, the communities we work in, and the clients we serve. Our COVID-19 Response Plan covers procedures to reduce the spread of the disease in the workplace, screening measures and other controls, communication, and applicable business travel and business policies.
